My "Social Media metaphor"...this also corresponds with my appreciation of coffee.
Twitter is like Tim Hortons:
--Gone to hell in the last few years. The owner is nuts. The staff is abused. The patrons are insane. And the product (ie the coffee) sucks.
Bluesky is like Starbucks:
--It's nice, but still corporate. Not a lot of real chit-chat between customers. And the product is still questionable.
Tooter is like the independent coffee shops:
--Staff and customers are friendly. The conversation is lively and intelligent and the coffee is a helluva lot better. Finally, the place isn't packed so you can actually hear yourself think.
