I fully support a diversity of education models – including religious ones despite being agnostic (functionally atheist) – because no one size fits all.

That said, quality education ought to be a guaranteed right: public/private, religious/secular, or otherwise should all be bound by educational standards and not be for-profit.

(My child attends a public charter Montessori high-school operated by a non-profit.)
