Added tag support, and changed the way Mastodon displays my articles.
Want to still add a like/repost counter, or facepiles, like I used to have on my WordPress blog.
And mentions, which I thought I didn’t need, but it’d be nice if I could again reply to Fediverse posts, so I might need ’em after all. Although, I could totally reply to them here; don’t need my site for that.
Anyway, let’s see.
I’ve got the location/weather thingy, I’ve got audio scrobbles working again, and now ActivityPub.

Added all that over the last few weeks and months, on top of a lil’ CMS thingy I’d abandoned years ago.
Maybe in ’25 I can add the feed reader part. That might lead me to overhaul the admin interface, in fact. Right now I’m using Bulma for CSS – not sure why, its form fields don’t look too bad, and it made adding an upload modal really easy – and a friggin’ Material Design icon font.
I’m normally a vanilla CSS guy, but it’s my admin interface, so whatevs, okay? Plus, there’s no JS framework.

Semi looking forward to Dansup’s library, although I’m … a little worried it’s slightly more complicated than just tacking that on. But we’ll see. I could have been reinventing the wheel here, before it’s been invented. Or rather, released.
Like, I eventually want to map certain “IndieWeb post types,” like replies, to “proper” ActivityPub replies. Which means running an mf2 parser on my post content and setting an inReplyTo
property if applicable. So it’s a bit more than “mere syndication.”

Same for reposts, which will have to be “translated” to Announce activities. And so on.
Everything I had in my WordPress “add-on for ActivityPub,” basically.
Most other things, like posting Create or Update activities with “just” the post’s content, that stuff should be sufficiently generic to abstract away into a library.
And all the WebFinger magic, etc.
