@N4JAW Not sure you or anyone else needs to be subjected to my mad lack of straight key skill, but one never knows... 😂
I'm going to make it a point to at least listen to yours!

@AF0AJ Wes, never worry about your mad lack of straight key skills. Lately I've heard people stammering along at 5-8 WPM. It was music to my eyes. Despite their misgivings, they pushed through it. That to me is a HUGE accomplishment. FAILURE IS 100% WHEN YOU DO NOT TRY!

@N4JAW I'm pretty sure you just nudged me enough to give it a whirl this evening!
I need that line about 'failure is 100%' on a sign above my desk, too. 😉

@N4JAW
i'm both thrilled and horrfied that morse is still in use.
when i was in the USAF, they called the folks in comm "ditty-boppers", since they still had to learn morse code then. not sure the USAF still requires it?

@paul_ipv6 From what I've heard from recently retired Veterans while doing POTA, it is not required, A few were amazed Morse Code was still being used.
