I hit Perfection for the first time in Stardew Valley last night.
I started a new Playthrough today.
Apparently this game isn’t done with me yet…

@dachary I have almost 1000 hours in the game but have yet to achieve Perfection.

@hamatti I’ve got like 8 saves that probably tally up around that, hours-wise, but this was my first time going for Perfection.
It’s a fun little capstone, but I think it subverts some of what I love about the game, so I’m mixed on chasing it as an achievement. I do sort of lose track of “what to do” after a certain point, so it gave me a goal to go for.
Not sure what I’ll aim for in the new Playthrough I just started.

@dachary I had one save with which I got rather close to Perfection but then the last grind to make the 10M for the clock just was too boring for me and I gave up.

@hamatti Yeah, I felt similarly and it was pretty much passing time and optimizing for income, which I don’t love. Not sure I’d do it again. But all the extra playtime did give me plenty of time to optimize my farm and get into stuff I haven’t done in prior saves (slime farming, fish ponds). And I got some cool weapon and item drops I’ve never seen before, as I spent so much extra time dungeon-diving.
