Been implementing text selection in #Textual
The final boss was selecting justified text. This was challenging because there isn't a simple relationship between the text on screen and the source text.
It's about 90% of the way there. Just have to implement the last 90%.

It feels like the individual building blocks are all there and talking to LSPs from Python isn’t that hard. Or is there anything major missing I’m not aware of?

@willmcgugan why not? It sounds like a fun exercise for a rainy weekend :)
On a more serious note - I actually enjoy Helix a lot from a user experience perspective. All bundled and no need for a ton of plugins. But it’s also extremely limited and I think the suggest plugin system won’t be that good.
One vim clone with all the bells, whistles and extendable via Python packaged via Nuikta might actually be useful.
