Hoping for advice from #bonsai Mastodonians. 2 yr ago I was given a bonsai kit for Christmas and planted a few pine seeds. This is the sole survivor, who I have named Eric. Growing conditions in my flat are not ideal - he's currently on a windowsill and about 12 cm high. Qu is whether I try to make a bonsai from him. I think if I try there's a strong chance I'll kill him as I don't know what I'm doing. I do have a nice suitable bonsai dish.

@deevybee let it grow to thicken the trunk some more then contemplate what you'll do.

@deevybee number one piece of advice is to put it outside. A friend gave me a tree just like this that he had been growing indoors for years. I put it outside the next spring and it exploded with growth.
