Well, that was weird. Go out for our anniversary unknowing that we booked a table at the last ever service at the famous Arun's Thai restaurant, closing after 39 years. Met Arun. @dabeaz Twice in my life while traveling I've walked into a restaurant because I had to eat somewhere and the place looked nice only to find it was opening night, and both times were a delight. Once was Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe. (!)
