When visiting the media gallery of a profile, just long press an image to open the message where it was posted to get the context.

@apps this might be a good place for a #FedilabReport : when you open an image from the gallery, then swipe to another image from a different post, then click the link to open the post, you land on the post of the first image, not the post of the image you clicked the link on. Just a minor annoyance as one can workaround it, hope you don't burn too much of your valuable time on it.
