Pokemon TCG Pocket is a lot of fun!

the streamlined rules for mobile are actually an improvement on the physical game in my opinion.

20 card decks are much more inclusive and encourages quick experimentation. you only need 2 of each card.

5 benched pokemon was always overkill. 3 is better.

spawning energy is a good idea too.

makes me want to get out my childhood cards and play this way.

@hbons I don’t know if it’s better like this, but I like the way that they’re starting with really basic combinations, making it accessible to everyone. It’s a great way to make people interested in TCGs for free and without friction
