just looked the the open source libs used by the #DKB banking app and found https://github.com/ThreeTen/threetenbp . Not an #Android dev myself, but does this meen that this app is still on Java 8 😳

@taseroth With Java 8 they would not need this backport, as this brings the functionality to Java 6 and 7, which does not really makes sense.

Java 8 is supported (at least) until Nov 2026, no worries with that.

@taseroth Not even on Java 8. IIRC the flavor of Java Android uses actually has never made it to / past 8. They went to Kotlin straight away.
