I stumbled upon this by accident, but found it very insightful and interesting.

Even if you've never been interested in furries, if you've been around IT for long enough, you at least saw the memes, if not met some in person.

One of my very first online friends was (still is!) a furry and gay - we meet in #Planeshift, which was a moderately popular early (FOSS) MMORPG and where we both played Enkidukai (cat people) and were part of the same Explorers guild.

We only met in person at an IT conference several years later.

I learnt much more from him than he probably realises. :blobcat:
