Ich würde für meine Abendunterhaltung gerne #peertube statt der bösen Plattform nutzen, aber ich werde nicht fündig. Ich möchte Videos sehen, wo Leute sticken oder zeichnen, lustige Katzen oder mit Musik unterlegte kitschige Lan and Nynaeve The Wheel of Time Zusammenschnitte.

Gebe ich stitching bei peertube ein, wird mir ein Antifa Stickbild vorgeschlagen, suche ich "lustige Katzen" komme ich auf ein Unboxing Video für so ein Kühldings für PCs. Bitte helft mir. #fedipower #anleitungfurdeppen

@andijah ok. Das heißt, ich muss für jede meiner Vorlieben die richtige Instanz (?) finden? Für Filme und Fangedöns müsste ich dann nach irgendwas mit films/movies suchen?

@BerlinerPflanze nein, eigentlich kannst du theoretisch auf jeder Instanz suchen. Aber je nach Föderationsgrad bzw Größe der Instanz wird halt mal mehr, mal weniger gefunden. Und manche haben die instanzübergreifende Suche nicht aktiviert.

War nur als Tipp für die lokale Suche gedacht und weil dort viel "handgemachtes" gepostet wird.

@andijah das klingt mühsam. Soweit ich das verstanden habe, gibt es ziemlich viele Instanzen und wenn ich einzelne absuchen muss, weil sie nicht untereinander geöffnet sind, habe ich länger zu tun, um zu finden, was ich suche.

[#]makertube. net hatte ich sogar schon einmal gefunden, weil hier auf mastodon was dazu verlinkt war.

@BerlinerPflanze ich bin auf einer musiklastigen Instanz, aber mit der Suche finde ich alles mögliche. Im Grunde wie überall im Fedi. Nicht alles findet man sofort, man hangelt sich halt irgendwie durch.
