I don’t know what magic Fedora contributors perform but — despite all the complaints I read about — I’ve yet to experience a single problem with graphics (Wayland) or audio (PipeWire) on my 2017-era ThinkPad X1 Carbon. I hope these subsystems and their integration continue to improve for everyone.

@amdt same, except for missing features (colour management) and even there, I find the system perfectly usable if just suboptimal for photo purposes.

@tfb What are your colour management needs? I have an ICC profile for my display panel that GNOME loads without issue, otherwise everything I personally do is in sRGB.

@amdt Does that work for you ? The last time I checked, it didn't seem to have any effect on darktable ... but I've just been starting an X11 session when I want to run dark table. Not really a big deal, since it's X11 only in any case

@tfb I was able to check this earlier and, as far as I can see, the profile applies across the whole display, including Darktable's window (via Xwayland).
