when I was a kid I remember my dad spending hours trying to get the christmas lights working but I don't remember him ever having to set up a linux virtual machine for it, so I have some things to say now about the progress of technology

@aparrish @mewo2 I suppose if you have sufficient control over the light intensity of an LED, you could stream a digital audio track from the holiday light display.

@mewo2 somehow setting up an MP3 player for one of my kids involved reinstalling my laptop’s system Python, and prepping a tablet for the other one was eventually solved by digging out an Android phone from the back of a drawer and using that for staging.
