Family dinners are a good opportunity to explain that there are other messaging systems than #Whatsapp.

(Having had to try this app out, its interface is completely rubbish, I couldn't understand how it works 🤦‍♀️ )

Show them what you can do with Conversations, Snikket, Monal, Siskin or your preferred #xmpp client and explain the advantages of decentralization (as with email, by the way).
