No circuits or switches damaged. Just melted a small bit of my wire cutter/stripper. Now it matches all the other ones! And the arcing didn’t ignite a fire!

No emergency medical care needed. Everything working. All in all I’d call today a success.

@rmogull Which switches did you end up using? We’ve tried Wemo, Meross: both not great. Lutron has been great (reliable and great dimmer capability in our neutral-less house).

@austonianb I've been using Zooz lately. My setup is over 20 years old and still includes a lot of Insteon that I replace as they die. But I have neutrals everywhere so more options.
