I’ve been taking CBG for a little while to help with my ADHD. I couldn’t find anything about it when I checked about a month ago, but then I accidentally stumbled upon this article yesterday: https://www.naturalwayscbd.com/blog/cbg-for-adhd

I noticed all my best performing Tinctures I was taking for ADHD management had CBG as the highest concentrated ingredient. Good to know there seems to something to this.

Weed seems to have so many benefits and it just keeps growing. Relaxation, Pain Relief, Sleep Aid, Head Fog Machine and now it can be used to help manage ADHD?

I think it’s awesome that people are finding ways of managing their issues that don’t require them going through the hoops and hurdles of going through the medical system to try and get comparable medication. Often times, the prescription stuff is really bad for you in one way or another, such as being significantly more addictive or having a ton of extra side effects.

@irie The weed you are thinking of is THC derived from, well, weed. Where as CBD and it’s derivatives such as CBN, CBG, CBC, etc… are derived from hemp. They are non-psychoactive and thus do not make you high.

I did use the term weed in my original post, but that is because most people would lump hemp and weed into the same category due to them being so similar, sharing many compounds. You can even synthesize Delta-9 THC which is from weed using only the hemp plant.

THC is something that, like you said, some people react very strongly to and get very paranoid. I think THC and various derivative cannabinoids can definitely have positive benefits aswell, but you’re correct that THC definitely has more concerns and potential side effects.

In the end I can only speak for my personal experience, everyone is going to be different as to how they will/will not react to, well, anything really.
