so i get this message telling me i have a package waiting to clear customs. ok first i am not actually expecting a package. secondly and even more important is that we don't use zip codes here. they are called postal codes. i wonder how many people actually go and look?

@gtbray I get tons of those messages. I just delete them and report them as junk.

@Mitmee_Pie @gtbray Sadly, this is a typical scam. I agree with Missy; I just delete them. If I get a phishing email trying to impersonate a company like PayPal or Norton, I typically forward it to the actual company's email address for reporting phishing scams, along with message headers.

@gtbray @Mitmee_Pie It is very sad. The people behind those scams are just evil. They ruin lives by stealing money and the identity from so many.
