@makesubarugayagain I have one of those cheap engraved dog tags attached to the valve cover that says the engine is different from stock and listing the oil capacity and filter number.
It's only there on the off chance that I take it to a quick change place which will probably never happen.
I generally take a picture every time I change the fluids so I can refer back to the date.

@Basmitharts i just write weight and capacity on my oil filter. i also have a few bolt sizes and torques written on cases so i dont have to look them up.
