Am I just missing the option to force a PIN unlock after a certain period of time instead of fingerprint biometrics on @GrapheneOS ? My understanding is randomly the PIN is required instead of biometrics for screen unlock. Would be nice to set a time period that is enforced?

@whil Primary unlock with your PIN/password is required after:

1. Rebooting, due to being in Before First Unlock state again, which is triggered due to our auto-reboot timer feature automatically which you can configure.

2. 48 hours since you last used secondary unlock (biometric unlock) which is the standard Android timer and is partly so that you don't forget your primary unlock method.

We plan to make the timeout since primary unlock was last used configuration but it's a low priority.

@whil If you want to control when primary unlock is required again, you can purposely unlock the device with it to start the 48h timer again. It's not a timer since you last unlocked but rather a timer since you last used primary unlock. The reason it works that way is partly because a lot of users will forget their PIN/password if they go arbitrarily long periods of time without having to enter it.
