🤓 I have joined UPenn as an AI researcher. I was just helping out before, but it seems they like me and I think theyre pretty great too. This is quite funny if you know how cynical I actually am about AI

I am working on scientific verifiability, which I regard as one of the rare good fights in AI

@reconbot i havent convinced them to unplug all the computers yet. im gonna work that into all the models so when ever someone asks for advice...

@jmsdnns congratulations! It is definitely good to have people that aren't diehards talking about AI to push their own companies.

I keep wanting to get into AI, but haven't made the time. Do you have any recommendations for starting points?

@zck hmm you know, i actually dont. but i am going to think on this and I will come back with something

in the meantime, here is something i wrote after I went to Penn's first AI conference back in April that explains my connection to the place

it shows how AI responds very well to structured data and there's a CLI promoting idea towards the end that demonstrates how weirdly open ended it can be
