Welp... I ordered myself a steamdeck. Mostly looking to use it for retrogaming. It seemed to have things like retroarch, and I already have some legendary 90's FPS games on my steam account, so retrogaming, here I come... Serene Festivus for me :ablobcatheart:

@prettyhuman Have fun with your Steam Deck! It's a good piece of hardware but some games may require some tinkering to get working. Thankfully there's people who are figuring these things out.

@snailkane yeah that's kinda what I was going for. I trust the steam community of avid gamers has the hive mind to help out if I run into troubles. I got tired of trying to tinker with retropies and an old 32 bit PC I had Linux running. Nothing was working just right. It was almost there, but there little things here and there constantly, that I couldn't get right. Meanwhile the steam gamers are working on solving the same issues for themselves, so I can rely on finding help.
