I am against death penalty. I am against it for murderers, I am against it for rapists, and I am against it for CEO's too.
Taking a human life is an extremely violent and ugly thing.
So Luigi Mangioni's act can only be justified if it is meant not as a punishment of this specific CEO, but as an attempt to initiate a positive change in society.
But this one murder on its own doesn't achieve much change.
So, to those who cheer for Luigi, I am asking : what are YOU doing to fight capitalism?

@FelisCatus does it make more people question themselves? I would hope it would accomplish at least that, I don´t like the idea that martyrs are needed to put a stop to oligarchy.

@FelisCatus People cheer for the CEO killer for the same reason that you're against the death penalty: because they agree that taking a human life is an extremely violent and ugly thing.
They realize that insurance companies take thousands of lives when they're expected to pay for care but refuse in the name of profit.
The health insurance industry is a murder machine, and it is right to feel anger about it.
