@mdione aria2c allows you to download one file multiple times at once, but different parts of that file, by opening multiple connections to the source at once, so that you can get a single complete file much quicker.

@mdione I've heard of rclone, but isn't it for cloud storage? When someone says "cloud storage" I think of Google Drive, not the other computer on my network.

@popey The problem is that I don't want to run multiple tasks, I want to run different parts of the same task multiple times at once to parallelize the work & get it done faster.
