30 years ago, this small classified ad in the back pages of Unix Review Magazine got me started in the world of Linux. Ever since then, I have had at least one computer running Linux pretty much 24x7.

I installed it on my 386DX/40 which had a whopping 16MB RAM, a ~400MB hard drive, and a Mitsumi CD-ROM drive. I have all the components to recreate that system now. I should do that soon.
