I've whittled access points to replace hopping social networks with reading all the things I've saved in Instapaper.

Archives go back 16 YEARS so I should be good for a while.

(Tho sadly some of the initial saves have link rotted.)

@glass I feel this. I migrated from years of Instapaper, to a brief flirt with the Reader service, but was fed up paying for saved links. Plus when I noticed the link rot, I purged the dead, and then shifted everything to Apple’s built-in Reading List. The reading list widget reminds me to check there, not socials. And if the words are good they get saved to a Notes folder. If it rots, it rots.

@db There is! It is regrettably named “Safari” when you search for it in widgets. It was this widget that started the transition for me. I use the large version as a pseudo app on iPad and iPhone to trigger reading.
