For the latest Pedometer++ update I built a Trends view which lets you examine your walking history at a variety of degrees of granularity. It has been doubly fun to work on this feature was coincident with a renewed effort in my own fitness.
In mid-October I started to be more consistent in my activity...which I can now clearly see in the Weekly view. I find that gentle upward shape so very encouraging, I AM actually making progress, and I can know that with confidence now.

@_Davidsmith Very nice.
I’d love to be able to set my target to 70k per rolling week instead of 10k per day.

@_Davidsmith I love this Trends view. Thank you!
I am also seeing a problem where I am in various tabs other than Steps (usually Workouts, but not always) when I open the app. I’m always in Steps when I leave the app.

@_Davidsmith love this, thank you! when you mentioned working on this a few weeks ago, I fixed my oversight in not supporting your app development earlier :) Appreciate everything you do with this and all your other apps!

@_Davidsmith I tried importing historical data from Apple Health dating back to 2015 but nothing is showing up on the graphs for those year after tapping through. Tried force restating app. Haven’t tried it twice since I’m worried it will double count. Any I deas?

@_Davidsmith If I import my steps data from Health, will that overwrite my data in Pedometer++ or supplement it? I ask because I’ve found Pedometer++ to be much more accurate than Health when it comes to step tracking and I’d be quite sad if I synced my Health data only to have it overwrite my Pedometer++ data and I lost my current 2054-day streak.

@_MrJasonW The import will only add data for days for which Pedometer++ had no data, and the data it shows uses the same merging algorithm which pedometer++ would use typically. Additionally, it shows you a preview of what it will add before actually changing anything, so you can check it is what you expect/want.

@_Davidsmith Love the update! What a great feature to reimport my steps going back to 2014.
Would it be possible to think about a week, month or year goal? My personal goal is 5 million steps per year (average 13699/day)
