Hi, I'm Schluffiger Schluff (that's silty silt), like the soil texture & best word.

As far as science goes, I'm especially interested in soil & water as environmental compartments & ecosystems.

I'm trying to survive working in so-called environmental planning & looking for a decent job, but all I'd really like to do is play music, read, & write.

I like stuff from before the 1960s (music, aesthetics, etc) & nifty things.

I'm extremely introverted, but not taciturn or shy.
