I don’t know if this bleeding obvious, but a good definition of current right wing thinking is the ability to hold mutually contradictory positions without feeling cognitive dissonance.

For example, immigrants are both raiding our welfare and stealing our jobs;

The time when they grew up was both better than now (and has been ruined by younger generations) and tougher (and younger generations have it easy);

The bible is the source of morality but people who believe in the Quran are immoral.

I don’t know which of many conflicting viewpoints is closer to the truth - but I do know that they can’t all be completely true.
