Another Shelly relay going in over the xmas period so I thought I'd do as much wiring as I could at my desk.

It's going to replace a really old security light that has those silly dials for sensitivity that seem to do nothing.

I don't know why I bought a blue rather than a PM red, the double live connection is just annoying and for low amp/same voltage use the PM is easier to wire.

Already integrated with #HomeAssistant so just a small automation to link it to the existing motion sensor.

@codechimp I did something very similar: the motion sensor as an input to a Shelly, which meant I could use it or not as wanted, but also meant that the security light could be turned on by other things such as doors opening, or my car arriving home.

@quentinsf I've probably not thought of all use cases yet for what I can use this extra flexibility for.

It's been one of those slightly annoying things on my list for ages, whoever installed the original didn't put an isolator on the light either so it'll be a full power down to fit it, and a fused isolator switch will be fitted at the same time.
