Dear #LazyWeb, do you know about a good #RSS to #Email service (preferably free)? Switching from private VPS to #Fastmail and this is one service which seems like hard to find from a reputable source.

@mcepl @fastmail If you have a server, and you're able to run some Linux commands, @rcarmo maintained during a long time https://github.com/rcarmo/rss2imap, which I transitionned to Rust as https://github.com/Riduidel/rrss2imap. This works very well, provided you can access to your imap server.

@mcepl @fastmail @rcarmo rss2email was the inspiration of rss2imap, mainly because sending mails containing rss content through SMTP was too slow for Rui

I am sorry then for not using your script, but I was once a maintainer of rss2email (or closely linked html2txt) and #Fastmail works with it just fine.
