Tankies’ negative response to the fall of the Assad regime needs to be condemned, and loudly.
PSL and other authoritarian groups would apparently prefer to see Syrian people and Palestinian refugees in the country remain in underground prison chambers or murdered by the tens of thousands than see a Russia-backed dictator slandered.
This is literally what I’m seeing and hearing. Today, even the Means Morning News dude (who usually keeps his authoritarian views pretty low-key) implied that it was some USA-led operation.
If you, as a white person, have such little faith in the Syrian people to fight for their own freedom and sovereignty I suggest you examine your biases about Arab people and sit this conversation out.

We're not fucking tankies, but we know the situation better than westerners who started following this story last week. Assad is a piece of shit. But there's no reality where Assad goes, and Israel/U.S. doesn't come in. As you now see.
And regarding your edit, the countries will not unite against Israel beyond the islamic resistance. because they are economically separated from the imperialists. the saudis, jordanians, egyptians etc can talk all they want, but we know where their paychecks come from.

I don't have any realistic expectation that those countries will untie against israel, but there is a chance of israel biting off more than it can chew.
Unfortunately the "solution" from the USA would then be to send more bombs, missiles and fighter planes to israel to help them cause even more destruction.

as i said then, Assad is a human piece of shit. But there's imaginary revolutionary thinking that goes, "We can overthrow a dictator, and the imperialist next door won't destroy our country and steal our land." and then there's reality based political analysis. There is NO reality in the current climate where Assad goes and Israel/USA do not invade. As evidence, the actual reality on the ground right now.

Condemning tankies shouldn't lead to being as simplistic as they are...
The Syrian people have fought for their freedom and sovereignty for one hundred year now, and against the Assad regime for more than 50 years, and they were constantly and mercilessly crushed.
A sudden victory in two weeks can logically be inferred as coming from an external factor, even if some parts of Syrian auto-organization did indeed prepare the way for the victory.

Apparently one important factor was the ability of HTS to manufacture their own drones¹ to take out Assad's tanks - and that's something that has huge implications for the future - but that can't explain the whole regime crumble.
HTS isn't a Turkish proxy, but SNA is, and both played a role in the military victory.
¹ Seems they had help from Ukraine, but Ukraine is known to exagerate its role in anti-russian activities in external fronts
