I love hacker toys, but don't love that they tend to sit on a shelf collecting dust for the majority of their lives. My goal for the runZero Hour anniversary "mystery machine" raffle was to provide something you actually want to use every day. Tune in Friday for the reveal and snag a limited runZero t-shirt if you sign up soon! https://www.runzero.com/research/runzero-hour/

@hdm ouch, to much truth in that, I really should pull out a few and do... something... with them
Curious to see what you came up with

@gnyman short version - it's actually a full on mini laptop with solid hardware and Linux software support: GPD Pocket 3 with the Pentium Gold processor and 16GiB of ram (we included a self-contained runZero Platform installation as well as all the standard open source tools); its practical because you can actually use it for things like taking notes at a conference (or email, slack, etc) in addition to wiring up anything you like (SDRs, more antennas, etc) via the extensive ports.
