Really want to get back into blogging and web tech things. Amazon did such a number on me, man. I knew it while it was happening, but not so much the extent until after I left. I'm slowly crawling out of it just by having some time away. The love I have for working with the medium that is the web and it's ability to be accessible to all is still all there, just need to clear some debris off from it.

@heydon Yeah, at some points I need to just detach from it, or at least from trying to force myself to "produce" things/work. Doing that never seems to help. So, while I'm eager to get back to it, I'm also really enjoying doing absolutely nothing and playing video games/doing holiday stuff on my time off.

@hbuchel The best compromise for me (because I'm bad for feeling like I'm "letting go") is to doing absolutely nothing for a bit, just with a notebook handy in case any ideas happen to pop into my head. Like a workaholic safety blanket.
