This has got to be one of the worst macOS defaults to have this turned on for a fresh setup. I've never seen a Windows switcher not be utterly frustrated by the Mac’s trackpad experience, as almost imperceptible differences in pressure (for them, given how bad PC trackpads generally are!) is never explained. The trackpad just appears to have weird inconsistent results. First setting that I always disable. 🤷♂️ #UX #macos

@john Same, when I have to touch someone else’s computer I end up constantly triggering force clicks by accident
If I ask, the owner/user of the computer usually doesn’t like it either, but they don’t understand what action causes it, or know that they could disable it if they wanted to. To them it’s just a weird unexplained thing their computer does sometimes.
