i hope there's a point in my healing journey where im able to actually just have these conversations with people around me, i'm slowly but surely starting to be less afraid of strangers...

@nik Most of them don't actually give a shit about the gender stuff, most of them voted for Trump for other political reasons or because they live in communities where that's just what you do

@anemone @nik @scathach maybe if I hung out in different places in my own community I would see more. when I was in tucson I saw a trans person twice ever, but one of the times was in a gay piano bar, if I kept going back there I guess I would see a lot more.
