For some reason I am actually preparing for #38c3. Got a βnewβ DECT with a proper battery and Bluetooth, so had to get some BT headphones. Also retrieved the AS5350XM from storage to see if I can prepare it to act as a modem bank for @c3isdn, possibly.

@bix @c3isdn Thanks for the offer, but we have no need for an AS53xx RAS, sorry. We've played a bit with this class of machine from Cisco, but even after days of trial+error, we couldn't find any software where called-number based telnet forwarding would actually work https://osmocom.org/projects/retronetworking/wiki/Radius_based_DNIS_-%3E_TCP_forwarding - also at least the 5400 has 400W idle power consumption. We're instead using Portmaster 3/4: Works and has low power consumption.
