@caseyliss youve prod already gotten this suggestion, but you can prob add a simple vibration sensor to your washer/dryer and then have an automation for home assistant to notify you when it stops vibrating for x minutes after detecting vibration for y minutes https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/s/QDpR5LOsKi
