Incredibly disappointed by #openAI once again.

Restricting access to the best models at 200$ tier which is basically inaccessible to majority of the world is straight opposite of their public "goals".

Time to abandon openAI entirely. This company has been doing nothing but prove themselves to be liars and deceivers and frankly I'm just ashamed for falling for it.

Another nail in the coffin to this "public good" meme company structure and I hope people on #blueSky is paying attention here.

The current plan is the "Plus" tier, which costs $20 USD/month. It offers, among other things, only "Limited access to o1 and o1-mini"

The only other option is the "Pro" tier, costing $200 USD/month. That includes, among other things, "Unlimited access to o1, o1-mini, and GPT-4o" as well as "Access to o1 pro mode, which uses more compute for the best best answers to the hardest questions"
