When the collective society shrugs when a health insurance CEO is assassinated in daylight it should be thought of as the canary in the coalmine dropping off its perch. The extreme concentration of wealth in this country is pushing people to their limits. Insurance companies rejecting claims to maximize shareholder value shows they have nothing other than contempt for the patients they deny coverage to. This leaves many with two options, crippling debt or dying.
