@Mastodon As a white, trans, queer, disabled person, I BEG you to hire a Black or Brown non-cis-man for this position. We (wpp) Think we can be objective. We Think we understand. We Do Not. Concurrently, anyone who has not experienced systemic misogyny is similarly unprepared. It is vital that Mastodon do this Differently than so many before, who assumed that awareness was the same as lived experience, or that all lived experience was the same. My 2 cents.
