Ok #EV #weirdautos peeps, recommendations please.

We don’t think we need 3 vehicles and we are thinking of keeping the #Roadtek #CamperVan and chopping in the #SoulEV and Qashqai.

Absolutely top budget is £20k so 4+ top spec 30k mile late e-Nero seem the obvious target and we are going to look at one tomorrow hopefully.🤞

Unfortunately X-Power MG4 are still just out of budget (and too big and wide IMO) but is there anything more fun or #weirdcarmastodon that we should consider?

We went to have a good look at the #e_Niro today and we loved its practicality and features. And it looks quite nice in dark blue in a grown up respectable kinda way. But it’s just so dull after the #SoulEV especially on the inside.

So we have lots of thinking, number crunching and Soul, or E_Nero, searching to do 🤔

New 64 kWh Soul is quite good but it is missing front parking sensors. I was going to get one but found that a bit annoying after having the Zoe without them.

Kia don't do interesting interiors. Hyundai Kona isn't much better. I think the Ioniq 5 is more funky. It is a bit of a chonk though.

@serichards the E-Nero draw over Soul (both Gen) is bigger boot/trunk! I didn’t know second Gen didn’t get front sensors as that’s useful for getting correct distance from gate at home for charge cable 🤔

Ionic 5 is way too wide for parking at supermarkets and country lanes so a definite no.

Kona boot not much better than Soul & has already been rejected by D because of the interior.

Ideally we need to keep the Soul EV for local day to day & afford the E-Nero for longer Grandparent-ing runs 🤯
