You know, I don’t mean to come off as insensitive, what Sir Elton is going through is huge and probably terrifying, but being a totally blind individual my whole life I have a couple of questions. Why can’t he finish his album? Why can’t he enjoy movies? Adaptive tech is truly amazing, I don’t think many sighted people can imagine what it makes possible. And Sir Elton has a distinct advantage over a lot of us in that he has the resources to utilize whatever he needs. And as for the movies, there is this nifty thing called audio description.
