Carbon Capture is just more money for the oil industry. It's a scam and a sham and probably does more harm than good.
Compare to a crypto exchange collapse, failure is not always a bad thing.

Agreed, I always expected it to fail. Also, the companies were looking for ways to sell and recycle the captured CO2, so then what's the point?
Still, as projects like this were already calculated in to our roadmap for meeting CO2 reduction targets, it just becomes blatantly obvious to all that we're not going to make any major changes until it's way too late.
