Itβs a purpose built system with really fast unlimited write endurance SSDs in a mirror. The old server only had room for a single NVMe, so it is nice to get the redundancy.

@SamantazFox Check out the (now discontinued) Intel Optane p5800x U.2 drives. They have 100 DWPD, and the most ridiculous IOPS, but they were expensive and a new generation of memory is coming to replace xpoint.
