@pluralistic in addition to #GTD methods, I found a pretty "revealing" method that helps me prioritize things:

I am in the process of setting up a brand new laptop and doing a lot of thinking about organizing information and files and time. This was a good read. I am looking forward to learning more about #GTD but I would love to learn more about Cory's strategies for info management @pluralistic.

thank you for this! I read this ages ago but this is the point in time when I am able to act on this sort of thing. I am currently drowning in data, have too many projects, and am an avid collector of information. I am hoping this will help me get a handle on it all.

super useful! I am torn btw a wordpress blog cory style or trying a wiki. I'm a bit nervous that the wiki will become a madhouse of chaos. I rather like the chronological post system baked into a blog. I am also a bit shy of committing to a particular program bc I have had so many dead ends in that regard. Part of this current project is to recapture all those loose ends stranded in evernote, onenote, and all the other 'solutions' I've played with in the past.

I'm a big believer in "associative" approaches (linky/bushy), though my wikis have chrono front pages.
You might want to play with Obsidian, based on markdown files (so low "commitment")
