Hmmm. Having some feelings about Thanksgiving... my aunt who was over did a good job about name and pronouns, which was nice. My folks didn't.
And like, they're supportive in many, many ways. They've done perfectly with trans friends of mine they've met.
But.
Like, it doesn't feel malicious... heck they call me other people's name here and there and always have. I kinda don't expect any better.
... it doesn't feel worth a stink.

@Dani yeah, same. with mine I’m pretty sure it's more of a brain thing than a reticence thing. its hard to rewrite forty years of a name they used before i was even born. and I’ve noticed its worse when theyre tired, which points towards good intentions and stubborn brain, i like to think.
