OK folks, here’s a hypothetical question for a friend of mine who, admittedly, could be super late on a project — let’s say it’s a Windows DLL for an instrumentation task.

How shameful would that be to ditch the whole OOP structure and replace it with simple functions relying on a handful of global variables? Does this qualify as a proper Friday move?
