here is an operation that modifies a planar graph by splitting along a line and shifting each side. ^g/^v is the new state, g/v is current. the data structures are immutable, so it returns a new "value". video coming when i can make it not divide by zero everywhere

you are probably not going to want to use my libraries to do any of this. but this is a nice way to structure this kind of problem
